Accomodation in the chalet consists of an open-plan lounge with dining and kitchen areas
, two bedrooms (one double and one twin), a bathroom with a walk-in shower and an airing / storage cupboard
in the hall.
There is a balcony overlooking the bay and access via patio doors.

Arrangements can be made to have grocery orders delivered prior to arrival and home-grown vegetables
are available.
The chalet is very well equipped with all mod cons including immersion water heater, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier and outside clothes line.

There is also a smart TV,
electric heating throughout, and electric blankets.
Duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen and towels are provided. Bed linen and towels are available by prior arrangement and at a small extra charge. There is also a cot with bedding.

Inverkirkaig is a small village of about twelve houses nestling around Inverkirkaig
Bay.
It is situated two and a half miles south of Lochinver on the coastal road.
The chalet is on a private site with a beautiful view over the bay. The area is
ideal for climbers, hill-walkers, anglers and wild-life enthusiasts.
Many species of birds and animals can be seen from the chalet including seals, otters, deer, ducks, waders and many small birds.

We are sorry but we do not allow pets as there are sheep and lambs grazing beyond
the garden fence.
There is an excellent book / crafts / coffee shop in Inverkirkaig,
and Lochinver, which is a busy fishing port, has a full range of shops, garages,
eating places, etc.
Inverkirkaig Bay is pollution-free, and tidal with sand and
pebbles. There are lots of mussels, cockles and winkles which are safe to eat. (unless
warning notices displayed)

The journey from Inverness, following the A9 over the Kessock Bridge, and then the signs to ‘Ullapool, Lochinver and Inverkirkaig, takes between two and two and a half hours on a good double-track road. The final mile and a half to Inverkirkaig is on a good surface single-track road with ample passing places. The entrance to the chalet is on the main road, down at the seafront, and beside a telephone box.
